Trash The Dress #2 (Ali)

Here's my second TTD session. (All Newport locations) Ali braved a very mean ocean this day! I checked the tide charts and it was SUPPOSED to be low tide this evening, but it wasn't! So we made the best of it.

Note to my 2005, 2006 & 2007 brides: If you are interested in a TTD session with me, you will receive 50% off the session fee. ($55 dollar value) Dresses can be sent to the dry cleaners and boxed back up for preserving. Or, like both of my TTD sessions, the brides went out and got a different dress for their TTD.


I'm so blessed to have this rocking location 2 blocks from my studio!!!

The Wedding of Cheryl & Craig. Elms Mansion & The Officer's Club.

Cheryl & Craig had a beautiful military wedding on September 22nd. 6 bridesmaids, 6 groomsmen, and 6 swordsmen!!! This is the largest wedding party I've ever photographed!! We went the Elms Mansion to create some photographs worthy of the pages of BRIDE magazine! Craig has so much expression....so he was really fun to photograph. The Officer's Club is all newly renovated and it looks awesome! They hired this rocking band, Brick Park from Boston that played acoustic rock songs during dinner. Kayla's Senior Portraits

Kayla came down for her Senior portraits. I photographed her brother, Jarrad, last year. I brought Kayla to a new mural I've had my eye on for awhile now. (The mural isn't new, but I haven't shot on it yet.) You know I'm always looking for new locations!! So here they are!

Chelsea's Senior Portraits

Chelsea asked me to photograph her Senior portraits. It was really low tide when we had our session, so I got her UNDER the Idea Lewis Pier at sunset!!! I also convinced her to stand up to her knees in water so I could get a better angle. (Thanks for working with me!!) Everytime I go out with a Senior, I try to create a unique, and original portrait in a new place that I haven't done before. It's really important to me that all my client's session don't look the same. I remember one year, in my yearbook, there were 4 girls in a row in the senior section, who all had the same background, in the same pose with the same lighting. I'm constantly changing it up throughout the whole senior season.

Tyler's Senior Portraits

Here's another one of my signature urban portrait sessions. (I love shooting at this spot. I remember photographing my friends while in high school at this location when I was first interested in photography.) I also really love this place because it works at 12 noon on bright sunny days, when the beach will make everyone "squinty". Tyler mentioned that he was seriously into music and bands, so I wanted to give him that "album cover" look. Here they are!!

Ron's Senior Portraits

Ron came in for his senior portraits. I'm really into the "urban" look for senior guys. I think it just works! I'm also into finding a new, unique location for each client. I haven't done train tracks yet this year, so that's where we went! I also like to incorperate sports and hobbies, so when I found out Ron played football at Rogers High, I had to tie that into the session. (Plus, I'm all about Rogers football, since I was the cheer captain there!!!!!) Here's the pictures!
