First off, I've totally neglected the blog for a full month! I feel so bad for my October brides. No previews yet from me!!
I recently wrapped up work on Jen and Joe's wedding book. They were married in May at the Hotel Viking. Here is their preview. This will be a 12x12 book. Jen picked out a beautiful two-toned leather cover--white leather with an accent strip of cocoa brown. I'll grab a snap of the cover when it comes in.

Gretchen + Mark are married! Hotel Viking Wedding (Preview)
Gretchen and Mark were married on a rainy Saturday in September. We didn't let that get in our way when it came to pictures. Towards the end of the night, some of the guests started reciting lines from "Anchorman". So I pulled Gretchen and Mark aside for a few more couple portraits and started rattling off as many lines from the movie as I could think of. "I will take your mom out for a nice seafood dinner and NEVER CALL HER AGAIN! Dorothy Mantooth is a saint!" I didn't even know I had it in me, haha. Definitely a really funny moment!!

Mariana + Gorty are married! (Night of Wedding Preview)
I just got back from Mariana & Gorty's beach wedding. Mariana was an absolutely beautiful bride. We got in lots of portraits of her before the ceremony. Bridal portraits are my favorite parts of the day.
Gooseberry was the perfect setting for their wedding. Plus, Goose has a special place in my heart, so I love love love shooting there. I have my little spots there I love using and I've been looking forward to photographing Mariana and Gorty in them all summer!
Mariana got ready at Pearls of Newport, a boutique hotel on Pelham Street in downtown Newport. They have lovely gardens and great rooms with lots of character. Pearls is a great place for bridal prep photos. There's lots to work with there. Plus, they really cater to brides and weddings!
Malloi, Mariana's band, rocked the place all night! They even gave in to the "ONE MORE SONG" chants at the end of the night and played the ladies a little "It's Raining Men". Very fun!
I loved the blue and teal themed candy bar with blue rock candy and salt water taffy! Edible favors are very much a DO this year!
THANK YOU for having me!! It was an honor to be apart of your day and I LOVED my 2.5 minute commute home. =) =)

Ellen + Ryan are married! (Preview)
Ellen & Ryan were married yesterday at Kay Chapel and had their reception at the Tennis Hall of Fame. Ryan and the groomsmen wore unique coral boutenierres from their trip to Antigua (I think that's what I remember Ryan telling me). Ellen had initial wreathes hanging on the doors of Kay Chapel. During the cocktail hour, the guests played rounds of Croquet, with tips and tricks given by a coach. So fun! Ellen's gorgeous veil came from Edna Mae's on Spring Street in Newport. I love veils and I loved Ellen's!
