I just got back from Lauren & Matt's wedding at Jesus Saviour and Hotel Viking. What a beautiful wedding and a great couple!!! Lauren and Matt meet each other when Matt's family moved into the house next door. Isn't that a cute story?

Lauren's family told me we had to do a photo of the guys under this tree in front of their house, because growing up, they have all the pictures of the boys in the same spot.

Oana + Michael are engaged!

Oana and Mike are getting married in August, so you'll get to see pictures of them again soon! We had a fun time shooting last weekend in and around Newport. Oana and Mike used to come down here a lot when they starting dating. After our photo shoot, we all went to a local clam shack for dinner and some drinks. Fun times!

Jen + Joe's Wedding at the Hotel Viking, Newport

This wedding was so much fun! As soon as Jen and Joe walked in my door last year, we were instantly bonded. I have been looking forward to their wedding all winter! All the florals came from the amazing and talented Stoneblossom Floral Design . I just adore their work.

Sara + Gabe, Engagement Session

I met Sara and Gabe last week for their engagement photos. What a sweet, fun couple! I loved photographing them. They have a really cute story too: Sara is a flight attendant and they met on a plane. They are getting married in Tennessee this September.

Aria's Senior Portraits

I had the pleasure of photographing Aria a few days ago. She is a beautiful, smart and sweet! We had a great time.

The daffodils are in bloom! I love this. I'm pretty sure I'm going to hang this in the studio.


It was really windy that day, but Aria didn't let it get to her.




And the magnolia trees are in bloom too! I love spring.

Lisa and Josh are married! April 19th, 2008

I just got back from Lisa & Josh's wedding!

Lisa and Josh were married today at St. Augustine's Church in Newport. I can literally see St. Augustine's from the studio, so it seems a little funny to drive 1 block to photograph their wedding today! Today was the first really nice Saturday we've had in awhile--it was a great day for a wedding. The reception was at the Hotel Viking and the ballroom looked fabulous!

New Portrait Website- LAUNCHED!

I just launched my new portrait website! One of my many winter projects was to split up wedding and portrait and give them their own unique websites. This will be much easier for both wedding couples and portrait clients to get information for their own photographic needs. I'm so excited! I still have a little bit of work to do on the site, but it's ready for now! This site features my work with babies, children, families, seniors and engagement portrait sessions.

Rachel & Andrew's Album

Here's Rachel and Andrew's album design. They had a beautiful and fun wedding at the Eisenhower House last September. My favorite spread is the series when Rachel and Andrew saw each other for the first time before the ceremony.

Publications in Newport Wedding & Bride's Choice Magazines

Winter means new wedding magazines are out on newsstands!! The ladies of Newport Wedding magazine did an beautiful job with the issue. The magazine is changing press times, and it will actually be coming out again in October of this year! So keep your eye out for it this fall. Newport Wedding invited me to photograph their editorial spread on bridal hair trials. This was at Ki-Ra salon in Newport.


And they also featured Trash The Dress!!! What a great article!! I have a few quotes in the copy too!
