Rachel & Andrew. Eisenhower House wedding, September 15th, 2007.

You know what I love about Newport brides? They wear flip flops, and they are ready to get married and party! Rachel and Andrew were married at the Eisenhower House in Newport. Rachel's bouquet was an arrangment of "Red Sox Red" calla lillies. Rachel and Andrew are research scientists, so all the tables were named for cells, and they had lillies in science beakers!! So cute!! I love it when the wedding really incorporates unique things about the couple! And you can click right here for their slideshow =) =) =)

Planning: Glorious Affairs
Catering: Fine Catering by Russell Morin
DJ: Rhythm Productions

You know I love hanging dresses from the ceiling.

I stole this serious look from her.

This IS Rachel!

Rachel & Andrew saw each other before the ceremony. This is really a nice way to "break" tradition. You want to say so much to each other when you see each other for the first time. It's a really special moment, and it's very private and relaxed. I love this sequence. You can click the image to make it larger in a new window. The sequence displays a little small here.

"Red Sox" red!

I love lens flare!!!!

Vica's Senior Portraits

Vica came in for her senior portraits. I photographed her brother, Alex a couple of years ago. Vica and I went to Gooseberry around sunset. (For some reason, I always end up on the Hazard's side of the beach....) I love Vica's expressions. She has such a variety and she pull off anything. Here they are!

This is my favorite!

I love dusk. Vica took some photos with her own camera of the sunset.

Something different...

I'm trying to shoot horizontals...I really am!!!!

One of My Photos on a Billboard!!

It's really cool when you're driving on the highway, and you look over, and go, "Hey, I know those guys...wait, I photographed those guys....wait, THAT'S MY PICTURE!" It's really exciting. This is on 95 North in Warwick. It's one of those rotating-ad video billboards, which is why it looks like a TV screen. These were sports radio personalities I photographed earlier this year. They insisted on having their picture taken with their Burger King crowns. Fun shoot, let me tell you! I didn't photograph The King--the art director 'shopped him in. =)

....and I'm off to photograph Cheryl & Craig's wedding today!

Pat's Senior Portraits

When Pat called me for his senior portraits, he told me he wanted to go somewhere "different". (This is music to my ears.) I love the beach, the sun and the sand, but I always like going somewhere new with a fresh set of eyes. I feel like we created some truly original portraits here. Pat, thanks for letting me experiement a little on you!! Here they are!

This spot is about 2 blocks from my studio. I love the color.

I told Pat, "Ok, this is either going to work, and be really cool, or it's going to suck." (I'm an honest person!!) I thought it worked. I REALLY like it!!

I love the kick light coming from the right side of the photo.

I really like this one a lot too. I love serious expressions just as much as crazy laughing expressions.

Abigail & Marissa's Senior Portraits

I love Senior season! Marissa & Abigail are twin sisters. They are both so fun to be around! They had me in hiking in the woods for both their sessions. =) Marissa & Abigail have the prettiest hair--I'm so jealous! Thanks for letting me play! Here's my favorites from their sessions.

I love this!!! Isn't this so different?

I love the tilt here.

Meagan's Senior Portraits

Meagan came in for her Senior Portraits. We were wearing matching Eliza B. flip flops!! (We Newport ladies love the Eliza B.'s!) Ft. Adam's is particularly special to Meagan, so it was a great spot for her. Here are my favorites from our session!
